Sky Link TV Launches in the Bay Area

September 15, 2015 - San Francisco, CA - On Wednesday, September 15, Sky Link TV, announced that it will launch a new 24-hour Chinese television channel in the Bay Area. Its grand opening ceremony will be held on Friday, September 18 from 5pm - 7:30pm at Crystal Jade Jiang Nan, Downtown San Francisco.

“San Francisco Bay Area has a diverse Asian Community”, says Sky Link TV General Manager, Danny Wong, “In order to provide our audiences with more choices of quality TV programming/programs, Sky Link TV is committed to bring in the best programming from Asia and in a 24/7 basis. We will also produce local programs that connect Sky Link TV viewers with the Bay Area Chinese community which is a key part of our mission."

Sky Link TV provides the community with the best family oriented Asian programming in the languages of Cantonese and Mandarin. Bay Area Viewers/Audiences will be able to watch Sky Link TV free over the air on KRON 4 -TV's digital channel, 4.2. The channel can also be seen on Comcast Cable 193 and DISH.

Sky Link TV currently has three channels in the Greater Los Angeles area and offering 24-hour programming in Cantonese and Mandarin. In order to provide specials of interest to the Chinese community, Sky Link TV invited Dayo Wong, a well-known famous comedian from Hong Kong to host several stand-up comedy talk shows in the U.S. in 2012 and 2014. In addition, for the past 12 years, Sky Link TV has proudly been the only Chinese TV station that has the exclusive rights to live broadcast the Pasadena Rose Parade. In terms of programming, Sky Link TV has brought in one of the most popular Chinese Reality TV show, “Where are we going, Dad? Season 3”, which airs the same day as China.
