Sky Link TV USA Supports Census Day April 1st, 2020

San Francisco, California - Sky Link TV USA announces its 2020 Census campaign to support Census Day on April 1st, 2020. A prominent media company, Sky Link TV USA, provides the U.S. Chinese community in Los Angeles, San Francisco, local and international news and entertainment on television, social, and digital platforms. With nearly $675 billion annually in federal funds, grants, and support to states, counties, and communities, it is especially vital for foreign-born, non-native language speakers, to trust census, and fill out the census.

Sky Link TV’s San Francisco General Manager Danny Wong said, “It is especially important now, to be a trusted voice in the community.” He continued, “With a lot of misinformation around Covid-19 and the census, we must provide accurate information to our audience. We are non-partisan and not affiliated with any political or religious organizations.”

Beginning Wednesday, April 1st, Sky Link TV USA will be committing over 40 hours of television airtime while also postings critical information on social and digital platforms to inform, educate, and support 2020 census activities. For Census Day, in the San Francisco market, a “Fill out your Census” billboard will run in every break. In the Los Angeles market, every hour during prime time, our news team will have a story about the census.

“We know we can motivate participation, the Chinese community, love us,” Rachel Tan, Sky Link TV Director of Marketing in San Francisco, highlighted. “In just a year, Nielsen data shows, our San Francisco viewership has grown nearly 50% and some programs over 200%” as she beams with emotion, “and our Facebook, just this quarter, over 200%. I’m so proud we are making a difference.”

Sky Link TV USA is producing census content from monthly interviews, weekly news stories, and daily informational messages, breaking the barrier to participate in the census. Combining all our platforms, Northern California, Channel 4.2, Xfinity 193, Southern California TV 44.3, 44.4, Time Warner 1415, Charter Spectrum 353, Dish 9957 & 9956, connected device platforms, Sling TV, LocalBTV, youtube, along with social media, WeChat, and Facebook, we are providing over five million impressions.
